My work is included in the first publication of The Humble Arts Collectors Guide
"The Collector's Guide is an invite only, unique 180–page source book distributed to collectors, art dealers, gallery directors, photo editors, museum professionals, and independent curators. Published biennially, The Collector's Guide aims to further Humble's mission by bridging the gap between ambitious early-career photographers and often-unapproachable photography professionals and art institutions."

I am happy to announce that my latest series has placed 3rd in the fine art subcategory of the 2008 International Photography Awards. 22,872 photographs were submitted spanning across 124 countries.These images will be included in the 2008 Lucie Awards coffee table book.
Oprah Magazine featured 25 Under 25 Up-And-Coming American Photographers in the

I am representing Massachusetts in the 'Women to Watch' biennial show. My work was part of a group nominated by Leslie Brown that was then juried by chief curator of NMWA Susan Fisher Sterling. The Show will be on view at The National Museum of Women in the Arts March 14-June 15 2008
FEBRUARY 2008
My photograph ‘Portrait of Lincoln, Milton Academy’ is now part of the members Print Program at The Photographic Resource Center- an edition of prints made available to certain membership levels. The print will be hanging year-round at the PRC and in membership pamphlets, and also on the web.

I am pleased to announce that I am now officially represented by GalleryKayafas.I will be having my first solo show this winter from January4th to Feb 9th.There will be two ‘First Friday’ receptions including January 4, 2008.

Lissa's work will be in theDanforth Museum of Arts' New England Photography Biennial. Her piece Corridor, Philips Academy, Andover received the purchase award.
The show runs Sept 9 - Oct 28, 2007.

APRIL 2007:
Rivera's Greek Life portfolio will be in the flat files of The Boston Drawing Project at the Bernard Toale Galleryin Boston beginning April 1st.
MARCH 2007:
Chief curator of contemporary art, Susan Fisher Sterling has selected Lissa Rivera as the Massachusetts artist whose work will be included in the upcoming biennial exhibition: Women to Watch. The exhibit is planned to run from mid-October 2007 to early February 2008 at the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C.

Up-and-Coming American Photographers to be published by powerHouse Books in spring 2008.
